My third year at the ranch BBQ and not much was different. About the only difference was the number of kids. The first year, there were only a few. Last year, there were a few more. This year, it seemed like at least every cowboy had at least one. Or there were enough from other families to loan the childless cowboys a kid for the afternoon. Tony took bunches of pictures, but none of them really turned out.
There aren’t really any good stories to tell. The last couple of years have been fairly uncomfortable at that event, being as I didn’t know any of the cowboys. The first year, knowing most of the ones from headquarters, I could pick on the ones I knew, but it’s been different the last two years.
So basically, it’s another day without a good story. It was exciting, but not something most people would find interesting.
