Another New Semester

Well, I’ll do an update on a previous post for the first time in…oh, I don’t know…a long time.

School started on Monday with biology lecture in the morning and lab in the afternoon. Wednesday was another biology lecture. So far, it’s pretty boring. We’ve learned about classification the scientific method so far (*sarcastic* yay! *end sarcastic*).

Tuesday and Thursday, I start with macroeconomics, go straight to French, then straight to calculus. I know I’m going to enjoy my macroeconomics class…it’s with the same teacher I had last year and I really like him. My French class isn’t going to be much fun because I didn’t study over the summer. And there’s a real, honest-to-goodness French boy. That’s going to be tough to get over while I’m in class. My teacher assigns seats, so there’s a pretty good chance I’ll have to sit next to him at some point. My calculus class seems like it’s going to be interesting. I like my teacher and the book goes slow enough that I think I’ll be able to keep up (I’ve never had a pre-calculus class…I tested into calculus after learning some stuff from Tony and a math book I bought).

So basically, I think I’ll like half of my classes, one of my classes will be so-so (depending on the topic), and one of the classes is just not going to be enjoyable. But I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end…it always does.

New Schedule

Tomorrow is the first day of my new schedule. I’ve left my morning work, at least for the fall…probably at least until the spring and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s longer than that before I get back to morning work. Patience is willing to let me come by whenever I’m not in class and have time, so I’m going to take advantage of her offer. I’ll go down on Fridays at the very least and watch (and maybe get to ride). This Thursday, she’s getting lessons from a woman who lives and works several hours away, so I’m going to go and watch that when I get out of class.

As for my class schedule, I can’t get out to the barn in the mornings because my classes start so early this semester. Monday and Wednesday, I start at Biology at 9:30. On Mondays I also have the lab, so I’m at the school until 5:30. Wednesdays, I get out at about noon. Tuesday and Thursdays, I begin at 9:30 with Macroeconomics and those days run until about 2:30 (because of calculus and French). No class on Fridays, which is why I can get to the barn.
