Carova – Day 3

Wednesday, we spent the morning walking. Close to the shore, the waves were as dramatic as they had been all week, but further out, the ocean was flatter than it has been for the last several days, but the wind whipped the spray up off the waves and it was really cool.

While we were taking pictures of the spray off the waves, we caught these birds. The dolphin in the background was a bonus.

Tony’s mom found this piece of conch shell. She suggested it was a good mug handle. Tony decided it was better as a sword handle.

The rest of the day was spent in “town.” It took about an hour to get there. Lunch was slow and then we went to the store. We got back to the house just before sunset, which was good (we didn’t really want to drive the beach after dark).

There are more pictures here.
