We went over to the new house yesterday so we could enjoy the snow there too. Tony cut off some berries from the nandina here and took it over – apparently the birds appreciated the gift.
We went for a walk in the woods. We’ve done the perimeter twice now, so we thought we’d just trudge back in the middle to see what we could see. We found an old driving path (I have been surprised at how many of those there appear to be back there) and followed that to the back line. There’s a creek back there on the neighbor’s side and we stared at that for a while before we went back to the house.
Back at the house, it appears things are gearing up for spring. I’m excited to see what has been planted around the house (it looks like it was not lacking for plantings).
